The History of Maniac Manors
After finalizing the script, artistic direction, and a unique gameplay concept - a hybrid of Point & Click mechanics and FPS-style exploration - I secured funding from a production company eager to back the project.
With this support, production on Maniac Manors officially began. In a remarkably short three-month window, I completed the 3D modeling, animations, original soundtrack, visual effects, and core development.
Upon release, the game maintained a stellar rating of 4.5/5 stars across both the iOS and Android stores. Even without a formal marketing budget or paid advertising, the series reached a milestone of over 300,000 downloads. This organic growth was driven largely by the free version, Maniac Manors: Prelude, and a glowing feature on a leading Chinese gaming authority site.
